How can I start working with you?To begin our journey together, simply sign up for a free virtual meet and greet (for new allergy and primary care patients only). This initial consultation will provide us with the opportunity to get to know each other better, discuss your specific needs, and determine if we are a good fit for one another. I look forward to connecting with you and helping your family navigate the world of allergies and primary care.

How should I prepare for my initial consultation?Preparing for your initial consultation is essential to make the most of our time together. Here's a checklist to help you get ready: Create an account with CharmHealth: After our Meet and Greet I will send you an email with an invitation to create your CharmHealth patient portal account (if you do not see this invitation please check your spam). Click on the link to register your account. Once you have created your CharmHealth Patient Portal account you can easily schedule appointments online, access and complete consent and new patient forms, make secure payments and more! Schedule your appointment: Select a day and time when you can dedicate your full attention to the consultation, minimizing distractions. Decide on Attendees: Consider who you want to include in the call. It could be your child, significant other, or a caregiver who is actively involved in your child's care. Complete New Patient Forms: Complete all consent and new patient intake forms (including updated medication list and preferred pharmacy information) via your CharmHealth patient portal account. Gather Diagnostic Information: If available, upload any relevant laboratory, diagnostic or test results related to you or your child's allergies (or relevant to your visit if you are seeking primary care) into your CharmHealth account so that I can review it. Identify Challenges and Goals: Take some time to reflect on what you're currently struggling with in regards to you or your child's health. Think about your goals and what specific help or guidance you're seeking. This will be the foundation for our discussion. By being well-prepared, you'll ensure that our initial consultation is productive and focused on addressing your specific needs and concerns. I'm looking forward to our conversation and working together to support the health and well-being of your family.

Do you work with insurance companies? My practice is "out of network" and does not bill insurance, but some families are able to be reimbursed for services by submitting an invoice with specific coding to their insurance company. This is often called a "superbill". For many insurance companies this can easily be done online. If you would like to submit an invoice for reimbursement, please let me know at the time of your appointment and I will be sure to give you the appropriate itemized receipt. To find out about coverage, call the patient number on the back of your card and ask: Does my family have out of network coverage for nurse practitioner services? Do I have an out of network deductible to meet? How do I submit claims for reimbursement? I also encourage you to use your flexible spending or health savings account (FSA/HSA) debit card for my services.
